Mason Madness Winners…
Well… the Mason Madness Scratch and Win promotion is over. The public drawing was held
Saturday, August 22nd at Bestseller’s Bookstore in Mason. The three lucky winners are:
Jennifer Ford won a set of luggage, gas gift card and one week free parking at Qwik Park from
R & R Travel in downtown Mason. It the perfect gift since Jennifer and her fiancé Branden
Sorensen (downtown Mason’s very own UPS guy) are getting married and have booked their
honeymoon through R & R Travel.
Tammy Mahon of Mason was drawn to win a $250 Best Buy gift card from Fiedler Insurance.
The grand prize winning entry also was turned in at Fiedler Insurance. The Grand Prize winner
of the seven night Southern Caribbean Cruise and $1,000 cash is Doug Salisbury of Lansing.
Doug was notified of his big win over the phone during the drawing party Saturday night. Due
to the sluggish automobile industry which Doug has been gainfully employed most of his life;
he decided to give his grand prize cruise to his best friend, Gary Lintemuth also of Lansing.
Doug and Gary have been best friends for the past 40 years. In hard times, Gary and his wife
have always been there for Doug and his children. “Giving the cruise to my best friend Gary
and his wife Debra was a way to show my appreciation and say thank you”, Doug said. The two
will enjoy a balcony cabin aboard Carnival Cruise lines ship “Victory”. Sailing out of San Juan,
